Qualifying Criteria for the International Carding Scheme

The International Carding Scheme provides a range of supports both finanacial and non-financial, to assist Ireland's most talented tennis players. The scheme offers financial support to cover players general living expenses not otherwise covered by the National Governing Body. Podium
  • Top 1-3 in the World Rankings
  • Last four in Grand Slam event
  • Medalist in the Olympic Games
World Class
  • 4-8 in the World Rankings
  • Top 5-8 in Grand Slam events
  • Top 4-8 in the Olympic Games
International
  • 9-250 in the World Rankings *
  • Qualification/acceptance into the Olympic Games
  • Acceptance into the main draw of Grand Slam events
  

  • Ranking must show yearly improvement, i.e. 2008 – 200, 2009 – 100, 2010 – 64
